Well, it's been ver two months since the last Blogland Awards. And I've been thinking...Next year is going to be even more awesome. Can we make this a tradition? Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee? Every year on the 14th day of the 7th month we hold an awards ceremony for everyone in Blogland? Past and present. Even if Derek stopped posting on his blog for some random reason and everybody lost contact...Could we please still have the BA? Beacuse it's always something to hope for, something that we can all look forward to.

It's a lot of fun and I think next year we should sort some sort of committee or something out so the awards can be better than ever!

Just a random idea I had, because I somehow ended up here...I don't know how, though.

My sister's friend has a squishy nose...My nose isn't squishy, though. :( My nose is...normal.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to everyone that has won an award, this year. The Bloglandian Awards (BA) were much more successful than anticipated. One can only hope that next year will be twice as successful! Thank you to all that participated and helped out. And a special thanks to:

The Most Inspirational Minion!

Okay, you all know this minion pretty well and, to be frank, she's one of the most inspirational PEOPLE I have ever known! She always knows what to say or do. She always stays strong no matter what life throws at her. She is brave and amazing. She is, to me, practically perfect in every way. I adore her and I wouldn't have anything left to look forward to, if it wasn't for her. She always manages to see the light in the shadows. She is strong both mentally and physically. I don't need to tell myself to be brave and to act strong, because I have her being the inspiration she is that is making me strong and making me be brave. I don't think so little of myself, anymore. The fact that she can put on a smile every day despite what's going on and the fact that she can still be herself makes me feel like I can do the same. I can be brave. I can be me. So, without further ado...

This one was a close one. Loads of people were nominated and voted for! This writer is a truly inspirational one. They write some of my favourite pieces of work and fanfics ever! And I am not kidding. So, I am going to get straigh to the point. She's truly amazing and deserves this award more than anyone else I know! The Best Writer awards goes to...

Well, this one was fun to count up the votes for! Only one person DIDN'T vote for her! I think it's pretty clear that she is the bubbliest of Bloglandians. She's also the reason the url and e-mail address for the BA are what they are.

Well, this one is obvious, is it not? He clearly is the most strange of us all. It's even in his name!

Now THIS is one that I agree with, at least the second half of it. It's about the strongest Bloglandian. Now, you've all (probably) seen my dedications about strength, from the past and one of these people shows great strength every single day! I have great pride in saying that he's a friend of mine, because of his true strength. He shows us how strong he really is day in, day out. Just by being here. I respect him so much and think incredibly highly of him for the strength he constantly shows. So, I would like to congratulate him on winning this award, even though it was a tie.

Congratulations, Mist. You got Strongest Bloglandian Award. Though, it was a tie between the two of us. *laughs* I think you deserve it the most! *passes Mist a shiny golden award* You show great bravery and let it shine through, it's an honour to be friends with you!

Lynxia Lost for Most Story Ideas

I'm no good a big speeches, and I apoligise for that, but this needs saying.
Lynxia has so many story ideas. She's overflowing with them. In the past two months she's worked Patchwork, By Force, Day One, Cresent, Harry Potter fanfic, A Murderers Dance, and Another Life. Maybe more, I wouldn't know, I kept trying to look at all the posts on her blog but my phone kept shutting down whenever I tried to get back here. And what have I worked on in the past two months, hmm? Two stories. Just two. And the thing is, EVERY ONE OF HER IDEAS HAS BEEN A GREAT IDEA AND A GREAT STORY. Lynxia has so many brilliant story ideas, it is untrue. Which is why I'm asking you all to vote for her.
Please. I'll give you a banana if you do! Or a marshmellow, if you don't like bananas!

Star for Best at Lifting the Mood Award

Star, a.k.a the Inky Octopus Girl, has always managed to lift my mood. It's almost like Star comes here simply to cheer us all up. She's nice and bubbly and inky and always makes me smile. Blogland needs Star Inkbright to keep it together. Like glue! Hmmm, I wonder if Star will be happy that I likened her to glue....

Do I really need to explain it?
The first time I was on Sparky was there. I was only commenting to congratulate her on winning the comp, and I stayed for a few minutes to see her reaction to my comment (I was weird like that. Yeah, was...). She thanked me, and then asked me if I would like to read something of hers. I, completely confused, said yes, just as Izz said 'of course she would like to'. A slight I will never forget.
So, I stayed. Completely innocent as I was *laughs* I was so confused as the conversation somehow got to colours of hair. Izz and Sparky, and Myth when he wasn't watching Sherlock, were talking too fast for me to handle, and I stayed permanently confused.
Sparky welcomed me, and from my point of view, she was a person to strive to be like. Kind, considerate and awesome. I viewed her as a kind of Elder, an elder of blogland. To me, and too almost all of you, she is the most inspiring person.

Nixion Strange for Most Story Ideas Award

I have always been amazed by how many story ideas Nix gets. They seemingly pop into his head while he's talking to us in Blogland. Even if it's for a fanfic, the ideas are always fresh and original. And there are SO MANY OF THEM. Just goes to show how much the brain can hold. Right now I'm just waiting for the day Nix's brain explodes with so many story ideas. That will be a peculiar day indeed.

Valkyrie V. Cain for Best Blood Award

Of all the people who have met Valkyrie V., I am the only one to have sampled her blood. I do this on a regular basis, and I do this, not only to fulfil my Blogland duties, but because Valkyrie V has the most interesting, most powerful blood. And interesting. And powerful. You see, she has Ancient blood, and has successfully sealed her true name, so her blood is bound to be different. Plus, I can make the most delicious explosive chocolate with Valkyrie's blood cells. And other useful inventions. I sample her friends' blood because Valkyrie may have donated her blood to them at any time. Words from a proffessional blood sampler. Valkyrie V. Cain deserves this award.
